All lessons are available on a first come first serve basis, regardless of previous registrations or history with our ski school.
Instructor tuition discounts and guaranteed access does not apply to adult lessons, or leadership/junior assistant program or anything other then youth lessons, instructor discounts can be found here: Instructor Tuition Discounts
Instructor discounts may be revoked at any time at the sole discretion of Powderpigs.
We open priority registration for families that were enrolled in the previous season first. HOWEVER this does not guarantee returning families a specific day, session, or program. Anyone who is eligible for "priority registration" can access ALL sessions.
We do not reserve lessons for anyone, regardless of instructor/admin team recommendation. Unless you have it in writing from a director, we do not reserve any spaces in lessons.
Registering for another session (session day, or session type) in hopes that you can switch to your preferred session does not work. If you cannot register for your preferred session, that session is full and will not accept additional registrations. Our best recommendation is to add yourself to the waitlist to be added to your preferred day if spots open up due to cancellations. Folks that are registered for the incorrect session get no preference on the waitlist when requesting session switches, information on how our waitlist works is below. Folks that register for the incorrect session in hopes to switch sessions will be refunded per our refund policy.
We run our waitlist in two primary ways: who submits first, and how they fit into our available openings in the program. For example, we may choose to go to a later name in the list if earlier names do not fit into currently available skill/speed/personality slots. This is at the sole discretion of Powderpigs.
All students must be registered by a legal guardian. You cannot register on behalf of extended family members, friends, relatives or others. Folks that you register that you do not have legal guardianship/custody over will be refunded and removed per our refund policy.
Pre-Registrations, or Early Registration for returning families is limited to immediate family members/guardianships. Extended family members, or folks that you do not have guardianship or custody must enter into the new family lottery. No exceptions.
Students must be age 4 for weekend programs by September 1, all other programs must be aged 5 by January 1st. Our snowboard program starts at age 7. See more specifics on age requirements here: Age requirements
To be eligible for lessons, all students must be able to use the restroom unassisted, have good physical fitness, and be able to be aware from parents/guardians for a full two hours. Please also see this article for more information: Class Requirements
Day change requests are typically not able to be accommodated. We try to accommodate them when we have the capacity in other programs. Day change requests made after 12/1 cannot be accommodated

Lottery Terms:
For new families, we host a lottery in the spring for the following year. For more information see here: How does the registration lottery work?
Every immediate family gets one entry. Duplicate entries will be deleted and are potential cause for removal from the lottery
Lottery winners will be announced via email.
You must have legal custody of all students that you enter into the lottery
All families that do not win the lottery will be added to our waitlist automatically
Lottery winners will be chosen at random based on available slots in our programs.
The lottery is available at any time during the published hours, not preference is given to time of entry.
