What are the skill requirements for Powderpigs?

Skill Requirements

As a rule, powderpigs is open to skiers and snowboards of all skills as long as the student meets the age requirements. However, some of our programs have skill specific requirements. 

Youth Ski Program:

This program is open to students from beginner to expert skiers. Beginners over the age of 8, will need to register for the tween beginner program (see below)

Wed Youth Ski: Wednesday PM Youth Ski

FriPM Youth Ski: Friday PM Youth Ski 

SA Youth Ski: Saturday Youth Ski 

SU Youth Ski: Sunday Youth Ski 

Older Youth Beginner Ski Program (Age 9-15)

This program is for beginners, or students that have skied just a couple of times with limited to no chair riding experience. 

FriPM Tween Ski: Friday PM Tween Ski 

SA Tween Ski: Saturday Tween Ski

SU Tween Ski: Sunday Tween Ski 

Youth Snowboard Programs: (Age 7-15)

This program is open to students from beginner to expert snowboarders.

SA Youth Board: Saturday Youth Snowboard 

SU Youth Board: Sunday Youth Snowboard 

Leadership Programs (Ages 13-15 & Must be advanced ski skill)

These programs are for skiers who can ski comfortably as a beginning parallel  skier in all conditions on all runs.

Adult Programs (Age 18+)

Our adult programs are open to beginner and intermediate skiers. We do not offer advanced adult classes. Our classes go up to beginning parallel skiing levels. 

FriPM Adult Ski Beg.: Friday Night Adult Ski Beginners (new skiers, or skiers with very little chair lift experience)

FriPM Adult Ski Int.: Friday Night Adult Ski Intermediate (skiers with some chairlift experience, solid W2 or WXTY skiers)
SA Adult Ski Beg.: Saturday Adult Ski Beginners (new skiers, or skiers with very little chair lift experience)

SA Adult Ski Int.: Saturday Adult Ski Intermediate (skiers with some chairlift experience, solid W2 or WXTY skiers)

SU Adult Ski Beg.: Sunday Adult Ski Beginners (new skiers, or skiers with very little chair lift experience)

SU Adult Ski Int.: Sunday Adult Ski Intermediate (skiers with some chairlift experience, solid W2 or WXTY skiers)
