How are class changes made?

Class changes are made by our admin team.  There are lots of factors to go into class changes, but the primary factors we consider are similar to how we build classes: the skill, speed and personality of the student.   We try and limit how many class changes need to be made, however we are committed to ensuring that you student ends up in the correct class for their skill, speed and personality. Admin team members are the only staff that are allowed to make class changes, instructors are not allowed to make class changes by themselves (though we do work closely with instructors to make changes)! This rule exists for safety, so that we always have a record of where your student is!

See below for some FAQs:
Can I request a class change?
Obsoletely! We love hearing from parents, and always encourage you to email us with any questions, or class change requests. Keep in mind that we may or not be able to accommodate all class change requests, but we will get back to you for any and all requests. Please remember that class change requests need to be made before end of day on Tuesdays to be able to be processed before the upcoming weekend. Class change requests received after Tuesday may get processed the for the following weekend.
Can I move my student day of?
Please do not move your students without discussing with an Admin Team member first. This is a major safety concern. Current class assignments are located in the brain ahead of every class, please check there for your current assignment. Admins may choose to move a student day of, but we try and limit this so as to not confuse students, instructors and other staff members.

My student was in XYZ instructors class last week, but they are saying they are no longer in their class, What happened?
We send out automated class change notifications Midday Fridays for weekend classes, and midday Wednesdays for Wednesday afternoon classes. Changes do sometimes happen after that email goes out, so sometimes instructors may have more up to date information then your email does. Please check with instructors if you have any questions, OR check with an admin for more specific questions. Instructors are not allowed to ski with students that are not assigned to their class in the brain!
