Skiing is a physically demanding sport, even for young kiddos! One of the most common challenges we see our newest students (both kiddos and adults) face is needing to build strength. To help with this, we recommend building a simple exercise routine into your pre-season planning. We recommend starting in the late summer to be ready to go by the time the season rolls around! See below for some recommendations:

    2. Balance Boards or Discs
    3. Hopscotch









  1. Leg Strength
    1. Squats
    2. Lunges
    3. Step-Ups

  1. Cardio and Endurance
    1. Jump Rope
    2. Running Games
    3. Hill Running

  1. Core Strength
    1. Plank Holds
    2. Sit-ups or Crunches
