Parents of Instructors Communication

Parents of Instructors Communication

Here at powderpigs, we have the opportunity to provide employment to both seasoned instructors and brand new instructors. Often for our new instructors this their first job, and often parents/guardians assist them with getting the initial paperwork and registration submitted. We love this, however we do have some important considerations to note:

  1. When registering/applying to become a instructor, it is critical to use the instructor contact information, not Parent/Guardian information. We need the instructor phone number in case we need to get ahold of them on snow, and their email address will be used for important updates that are only available to employees. We also use the email address for employment paperwork requests, so it must go directly to the employee.
  2. While we love answering generic questions to parents/guardians, we cannot disclose most employee related items to anyone aside from the employee.
  3. We encourage all employees to reach out with any questions directly, instead of parents/guardians asking them for the employee. You can always reach a member of our admin team at teach@powderpigs.com
  4. Having employees, especially younger employees reach out directly, also shows good initiative on their part.  We love seeing this!

As always, if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to admin@powderpigs.com (for generic questions) or teach@powderpigs.com for employment related questions!
