Instructor Uniform

The required uniform consists of an ALL RED parka (Fire Engine Red) with a Powderpigs Patch.


  1. We do have an Instructor loaner jacket program if needed, but many instructors prefer to purchase their own parka.
Other equipment needed:
  1. Helmet
  2. snowsports pants/bibs
  3. properly tuned skis (and poles) or snowboard
  4. ski or snowboard boots
  5. Seasons Pass (link for discounted pass will be provided)
  6. waterproof gloves or mittens
  7. non-cotton base layers including snowsports socks.
  8. Any other gear you need to stay warm on snow for 4+ hrs a day
