Instructor Uniform
The required uniform consists of an ALL RED parka (Fire Engine Red) with a Powderpigs Patch.
- We do have an Instructor loaner jacket program if needed, but many instructors prefer to purchase their own parka. Please email us at teach@powderpigs.com if you want to request a loaner.
- Affordable Jacket options:Helly Hansen, Marmot, Columbia and North Face also have complete red jackets. Backcountry.com is a great place to check for sale items. Check with the admin team pro deals that might get you better deals on this equipment.
Other equipment needed:
- Helmet
- Snowsports pants/bibs
- Properly tuned skis (and poles) or snowboard
- Ski or snowboard boots
- Seasons Pass (link for discounted pass will be provided)
- Waterproof gloves or mittens (we recommend multiple sets incase the first set soaks through.
- non-cotton base layers including snowsports socks.
- Any other gear you need to stay warm on snow for 4+ hrs a day (this could include a change of gear at lunch on wet days)
