The required uniform consists of an ALL RED parka (Fire Engine Red) with a Powderpigs Patch.
We do have an Instructor loaner jacket program if needed, but many instructors prefer to purchase their own parka. Please email us at teach@powderpigs.com if you want to request a loaner.
Helly Hansen, Marmot, Columbia and North Face also have complete red jackets. Backcountry.com is a great place to check for sale items. Check with the admin team pro deals that might get you better deals on this equipment.
Other equipment needed:
Helmet
Snowsports pants/bibs
Properly tuned skis (and poles) or snowboard
Ski or snowboard boots
Seasons Pass (link for discounted pass will be provided)
Waterproof gloves or mittens (we recommend multiple sets incase the first set soaks through.
non-cotton base layers including snowsports socks.
Any other gear you need to stay warm on snow for 4+ hrs a day (this could include a change of gear at lunch on wet days)
