Powderpigs Chair Lift Rules
Staff are trained to make sure all students aged 6 and younger, will ride with at least 1 other responsible individual. This may be a leadership student, another parent, a member of the public or someone who is able to assist the student getting on and off the chair.
No goofing off while riding a chair lift. Stay still, keep your eyes forward and hold on.
Back to Backs and Bottoms to Bottoms. Always scoot all the way back, and stay that way for the duration of the ride.
We ask operators to slow chairs down when appropriate, typically on Fixed Grip lifts ONLY.
All students who have not ridden a chair before, will be chair checked by a designated person.
Students may ride with other students in the class, with or without a staff member.
Staff are trained to ensure that all students who have never ridden the chair will be given instruction on how to ride the chair, including loading, riding, and unloading.
Staff are trained to ensure that all students will ride for the first time with another responsible individual, typically an adult, but this can also be a member of our staff or a leadership student.
