Poles
With the exception of the younger students, poles are required for all students. Make sure your child, with adequately insulated mittens, can hold the pole firmly. Poles must be long enough. To assure proper length, grasp the pole under the grip and hold the pole upright. The forearm should be parallel to the floor. Ask your salesperson.
