Available Instructor Positions
The following positions are available on an annual basis. Other positions might be available on a seasonal basis.
Primary Instructor (ski and snowboard)
Primary instructors are responsible for the safety and instruction of all students in the class, interacting with parents, daily and year end evaluations. This position requires the ability to incorporate Kid tech and Snow tech into successful teaching and class management. This is a part time seasonal paid position.
Assistant Instructor (ski and snowboard)
Assistant instructors work under the direct supervision of a Primary Instructor aiding in the instruction of students. This may include anything from working with the entire class on a specific skill to taking an individual student to the bathroom. You may be asked to assist the Primary Instructor in completion of daily paperwork. This is a part time seasonal paid position.
Substitute Only Instructor
This position is only available to returning experienced instructors who have taught for us for at least 2 full seasons(contact us for exceptions). To qualify for a discounted seasons pass, you MUST sub at least 6 days. You will not be eligible for sub bonuses. We will also for commitment on dates before agreeing to hire you as a sub only instructor. If you are unable to complete your commitments, we reserve the right to cancel any benefits including your seasons pass.

Job Share Instructors
In a job share position, 2 instructors will work as Primary instructors to cover the class the whole year. Each instructor will cover 4-5 weeks of the class to maintain consistency. This position requires communication between instructors and admin on who is responsible for each week. Additionally, instructors need to communicate class needs with each other and in the “Brain.”
This position is ONLY available on a limited basis and must be approved by the admin team, typically this is reserved for seasoned (4+ seasons) instructors. Email us at teach@powderpigs.com to see if you qualify
